1. How does IGB Austria measure barrel length?

We indicate the length of the barrel. If you want to know more about this product, please visit this products webpage. Do not rely on a manufacturers barrel length list.

Some fact list lenght of a barrel WITHOUT the ramp (ie Sig). If you are using data, please check before the order. A simple ruler is enough to know if the ramp is in the manufacturers data is included or not.

IGB Austria Barrel Length Example 1: Slide plus 1 "(25.4 mm)

2. How do I know if I have caliber change options?

How does it work?

The overall dimension of a barrel is kept, but the profile and the cartridge is the caliber change.

The overall dimensions are not the same, even the same gun manufacturer. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact us. If we have a misunderstanding on taking the order,
Options for caliber change:
We calibrate you at the various guns listed, which caliber options there are. If the gun is not listed, then the following is valid:
Ie for .40S & W guns, options are: 9×19, .357Sig, 9×21
Ie for 45acp guns – options are: .400Corbon (not for each gun), .40S & W, .45GAP
Ie for 9×19 guns – options are: 9×21 (interesting for Italy) or other calibers that are based on 9mm (ie 9Steyr)

However, there are also manufacturers who produce all calibers with the same muzzle masks. Then, of course, the leveling up is possible, but practically not because the floor is matched to the original caliber.

3. What kind of barrels are there for my gun?

IGB Austria manufactures many types of runs – from the standard run to the carabiner. Not every type of barrel can be ordered for each gun. Therefore, in addition to the caliber change options, a list with running modes and whether possible or not is listed.

4. My gun model is not listed, is there anything I can do?

If your gun model is not listed, this does not mean we can not make it. It means that not so many orders have been made that it is specifically mentioned. Please send a short email to our customer service and you will get very quick response.

5. Does IGB Austria also manufacture lengths over 42 cm?

No, IGB Austria does not produce barrels over 42 cm, also no rifles or gun barrels.

6. Does IGB Austria also produce barrels for the Beretta or Walther pistol?

No, IGB does not manufacture Beretta or Walther runs. Also not as custom-made. Currently, we work to deepen and not to expand further pistol marks.

7. What documents do I need to purchase?

We ship to US only which means no paperword needed

8. I have a problem with an IGB run – how should I proceed?

Something can always happen. Since we are behind our products and DO NOT like complicated procedures, please send us an email (please specify the number of the order) and we will take care of your needs and will choose the best possible path to your satisfaction.

9. Why does IGB Austria not offer stainless runs?

Stainless material is naturally “brittle” and does not have the viscosity, which requires a high-quality barrel. There are also frequent cracks in the area of the patronelager. Since IGB Austria offers only high quality, the stainless material is not an option for us.

Thank you for taking interest in our quality products!
Unfortunately we do not sell muzzle devices for the IGB barrels.
We have access to the thread sizes of 9mm and 357 Sig barrels.
I will just need a Glock model number.
Thank you and please let me know if you have any other questions.
      Best regards,

      Thank you for contacting us.
Unfortunately, we do not have a barrel that will fit the Equinox model for P226.
We can check with the manufacturer to see if they can make a custom barrel but I cannot guarantee it will be able to be made. Best regards, Samuel
